CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

The following code of conduct applies to all students while on college premises, including during College-sponsored activities. Adherence to these rules ensures the creation of a disciplined, respectful, and conducive environment for learning and personal development.

  1. Attendance Requirement
Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in all classes, both theoretical and practical. Regular attendance is vital to the academic progress and overall learning experience.
  2. Preservation of Academic Atmosphere
Any actions or behaviors that disrupt the academic atmosphere within the college campus will not be tolerated. Students found guilty of such actions will face disciplinary measures as deemed appropriate.
  3. Non-Discrimination and Respect
Discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, language, disability, sexual orientation, or any other factor is strictly prohibited. All students must treat one another with respect and dignity.
  4. Respect for College Property
Any intentional damage or destruction of college property, or the property of other students or faculty members, will result in strict disciplinary action. Students are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the campus.
  5. Identity Card Requirement
Students must carry their college-issued identity cards at all times while on campus. Failure to produce the ID card when requested by discipline committee members or security personnel will result in disciplinary action.
  6. Prohibition of Unauthorized Items
The unauthorized possession, carrying, or use of weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, or any item that is contrary to law or college policy is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in severe consequences.
  7. No Smoking or Spitting
Smoking or spitting anywhere within the college campus is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to maintain a healthy and clean environment at all times.
  8. Parking Regulations
Students must park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas, specifically near the middle gate of the college (near the post office). Parking at the main gate or in other unauthorized areas is prohibited.
  9. Media Regulations
Students are not permitted to record or share any audio or video clips of activities on the campus with the media or the public without prior permission from the college authorities.
  10. Dress Code
Students are expected to wear casual or formal attire that reflects a professional and respectful image. Clothing such as short shirts/tops and low-waist trousers that expose body parts is strictly prohibited.
  11. Mobile Phone Usage
The use of mobile phones is prohibited on the college campus during academic hours. Students should ensure that their phones are turned off or set to silent mode to avoid distractions.
